Stay Tuned for 2024 Farm Tours
These tours are a great opportunity to get your kids outside to connect with farm animals and nature.
When we tour around the farm we see, chat about and sometimes feed a variety of different farm animals. The pigs and goats are always curious to see what treats we may have for them. The chickens are always entertaining and usually friendly enough to pick up for the kids to feel their beautiful, soft feathers.
We often collect eggs from the egg-mobile (the laying hens mobile house for the summer).
We also look at wild flowers, birds, frogs and whatever else you and your family are interested in seeing and chatting about while visiting the farm.
The farm is an oasis of biodiversity. Spending time out here provides a great break from life. It helps centre you. Slows you down for a moment. And the kids love it.
Farm Tour Hours:
The tours usually last for about 2 hours. The first hour is guaranteed to be guided by one of your farmers (usually myself but potentially my mom or a farm employee). The second hour you are more free to wander.
The cost for the tours is $10 per person with children under 5 years of age free. The minimum cost for a tour is $30.
To book a tour all you need to do is email me (Charlene) [email protected] and let me know what day you are hoping to come out to the farm and how many people you plan to bring with you.
